"The Vintage Lounge is home to the The AllenMilesBand on Friday and Saturday nights from 6:30-9:30. The AllenMilesBand is made up of local duo Dennis Read and Michael Lightfoot who got the name for the band by combining their middle names. Both are singers and guitar players (electric and acoustic) and, with the help of pre-programmed drums and an occasional imported bass player, they provide an "eclectic variety" of music all the way from the sixties (for the babybommers who still want to hear some oldies) to the presnt day. Dennis says, "Everyone will hear something they like if they just stick around for awhile." While they've been performing together for four years, they both have more than 40 years of musical experience. Michael was a member of the Kobalt Blues Band and Dennis played with the TinkerRead Band. "We did this before and we're available to travel again. We'll appreciate it more this second time around and we're better this time, too!" Michael adds. While looking forward to a long run as the house band at the Luna Mansion, they are open to other venues and available for special events. Their web site: allenmilesband.com says they don't consider themselves a dance band but wear your dancing shoes anyway since it's not unusual for impromptu dancing to break out to their irresistable music."
